JT3-12 Stainless Steel 304 (A2) Tek Screws

EJOT JT3-12 fasteners are manufactured from 304 (A2) grade austenitic stainless steel with a hardened carbon steel drill point welded to the stainless steel shank.

The hardened drill point enables the screw to drill carbon steel sections and by having the lead threads formed on this hardened point this allows for correct tapping at high drilling speed.

Where fixing brackets to hot rolled steel sections we recommend they are used with the S16, S19 or A15 vulcanised sealing washer ensuring a safe seal every time.

Subject to design approval we typically recommend using the JT3-12-5.5x67 when fixing EVT helping hand brackets, tophats and C-profiles into hot rolled steel.

These fasteners are zinc coated for aesthetic reasons and waxed to lubricate the surface during installation.

The fixing can fix into steel structures 4.0-12.0mm in thickness.

RJ offer a complete range of Ejot stainless steel fasteners for other external applications.
