'Secret-Fix' Structural Bonding

Vertical application
Longer sizes available
Stainless steel Available
Wide range materials

'Secret-Fix' Structural Bonding system are designed using rails in a T & L geometry.

Where the board are joined together, the 110 mm faced T rail, provides the correct dimensions to all the major board manufacturers specification, relating to surface area in contact with the panel, and movement joint between the abutting panels. Depending on the material type, HPL / fibre cement panels require vertical support at 500mm to 600mm - for all vertical centre support generally use the L rail 51x61mm section.

Fischer have designed railing systems for use with the two market leading structural bonding brands:

Dowsil 896 has been CWCT tested, in conjunction with Fischer support substructure. The system involves Dowsil cleaner and wipe on clear primer used in conjunction with tested a RAL 9005 (black) vertical rails.

Sika Tack requires a mill finish vertical rail, which is designed for use with Sika cleaner and Sika black primer.

Typical bracket configuration uses the Fixed Point bracket at the highest position on the vertical rail to support the façade vertical dead loads. The Sliding Point bracket is used typically on all other positions on the vertical rail to absorb the project wind loading. Bracket configuration is specified by FischerBWM engineering department. RJ & Fischer offer a standard, available ex stock UK, range that covers most design requirements.

All rails available to specific RAL colours in Qualicoat on an order to order basis.

Bracket and rail systems from Fischer are interchangeable based on the project requirement. 'Helping Hand' brackets from SystemBWM ATK100 are the example in the image, the most cost effective bracket selection from the range. To achieve improved thermal performance to concrete substrates use SystemZeLa brackets.
