Rail Profiles
Box Sections are engineered to support large cavities and where there is a need to span between floors. The profiles are also used if building substrate is variable or where a subframe needs to carry heavy weight facade materials - including natural stones with a typical thickness greater than 40mm and glass. All sections are 50mm wide face, the depth varies from 25mm to 180mm and they are designed for U shaped brackets.
FischerBWM facade systems are designed and manufactured to Eurocode 9. UK accreditation approvals through the new Winmark Approval, by Wintech and the BBA are confirmation of Eurocode design and manufacture processes.

Typical bracket configuration uses the Fixed Point bracket at the highest position on the vertical rail to support the façade vertical dead loads. The Sliding Point bracket is used typically on all other positions on the vertical rail to absorb the project wind loading. Bracket configuration is specified by FischerBWM engineering department.
